Walruses

We started some animal fun - in preparation for our zoo field trip.

Monday we began by activating our schema on Polar Regions - using this anchor chart:

& this book - ever heard of it?  It provided AWESOME schema activation.

Couldn't find a link on Amazon - but it was at our Scholastic Book Fair last year?!?!
