Clowning Around!

We have been learning the ou/ow diphthongs this week & I supplemented the phonics skills by using Linsey's ou/ow phonics unit. 

To culminate our learning we "Pinned the Owie on the Clown" using $.50 mini band-aids on sale at Wal-Mart this week:

Then we made a Pinterest inspired clown & wrote clown stories {also from Lindsey's unit}.  Here's my example:
