One in a Melon!

My class is FANTASTIC...today we celebrated Watermelon Day & Field Day.  It was quite an eventful day:










Everyone who spitted got a Watermelon Jolly Rancher & our Super Seed Spitter Award {spit a whopping 11' 10"} got a Watermelon Ring Pop!

Tomorrow is Aaargh! - Pirate Day {based on Abby's Mark unit}, so more pics to come tomorrow, mateys!

    What a fun idea. I love their head bands. I'm going to have to do this with my class. Love the prize ideas too.

      It was all from Jen @ First Grade Blue Skies - her Watermelon Day packet is great. She celebrates it in Aug./Sept. but I wait until Field Day {that day is already chaotic, so we do this in the am & field day in the pm}. Party City has Jolly Ranchers sorted by flavor/color, so that makes it easy to get what you need!!
